I first met Charlie way, way back in the very early seventies.

I had just terminated with the band I was with ('CROWN', and before that 'Time and Creation'), and our lead vocalist (John Delucchi - JDL) had heard that a band was looking for a sound engineer and a lighting doctor. So we thought "why not". I had been playing guitar (religiously) for over 10 years, and I was also very interested in lighting, pyrotechnics and a myriad of other effects. So off we trundled to check this band out.

I was totally gob smacked... !
